Product certification and conformity assessment

Welcome to our website dedicated to the certification and conformity assessment of products in the woodworking industry. Placing products on the market and ensure product quality for the Czech and European markets are governed by different regulations.

This is Law No. 22/1997 Coll. on technical requirements for products and Government Regulation 163 and 190 as amended.

Our institute is authorized to act as an authorized person no.222 on conformity assessment and certification of products entering the Czech market. Here is a list of products certified according Government Order No. 163/2002 Coll.

Under the designation NB no.1393 We also commissioned to assess the products placed on the European market. Here is a list of products certified according Government Regulation 190/2002 Coll.

Post-revolutionary history of the Institute:

Since 1993 he has been in Timber Institute accredited laboratory whose mission is testing activities covering almost the entire area of ​​the timber industry. The natural culmination of the development of testing was to establish a certification body for products of wood processing industry, which has been accredited by the Czech Institute for Accreditation and was given the number 3075. Since 1997 he works as an Authorized Person no. 222 and conformity assessment of construction products in woodworking industry is accredited since 2004 also as a Notified Body 1393.
