One of the main activities of Timber Institute s.e. is testing of wood products and wood materials.
In this area there are two departments of testing laboratories that are accredited since 1993 by the Czech Institute for Accreditation ops

Physical and chemical laboratory

It operates mainly in the field of technical properties of wood, wood-based panels, floor panels and adhesives, formaldehyde release testing of wood-based panels and other materials, testing air permeability of buildings and other physical testing of buildings.

We are IKEA approved laboratory for standards:

EN 120; EN 717-1; ASTM 6007

Product Testing Laboratory

It operates mainly in the field of wood preservation, analysis of chemical impregnation and wood materials, testing of paints and adhesives, wood products such as windows, doors, wooden, pallets, etc.
