trade fair, which specializes in current trends in timber construction, structural systems, and innovative materials. The trade fair will take place from February 12 to 14 at the PVA Expo Let\u0148any exhibition center.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the professional program, visitors can also look forward to a lecture on practical experience in the inspection and assessment of wooden buildings.<\/p>\n<p><strong>When:<\/strong> On Saturday, February 14, at 11:30 a.m., Lubo\u0161 Drah\u0148ovsk\u00fd, an expert from the Timber Institute, will give a presentation on how a properly designed structure determines the quality and durability of a wooden building.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Where: <\/strong>Accompanying program of the For Wood trade fair, PVA EXPO PRAHA Exhibition Center, Beranov\u00fdch 667, Prague 9 \u2013 Let\u0148any<\/p>\n<p>The lecture will offer a look at wood protection through thoughtful structural design and explain why it is necessary to implement it. Emphasis will be placed on the influence of moisture, the method of installing wooden elements, and their exposure to weather conditions. product safety and quality assurance and consumer protection.<\/p>\n<p>The first annual Evening with State Testing took place on November 27 at Slovansk\u00fd d\u016fm in Prague, presenting in a very pleasant atmosphere the importance of state testing as a key pillar in the European system of product safety and quality assurance and consumer protection.<\/p>\n<p>The event brought together representatives of state administration, professional institutions, and industrial partners and showed that even such important and technical topics can be presented in a modern, attractive, and understandable way. The evening was elegantly and expertly hosted by Daniela Brzobohat\u00e1.<\/p>\n<p>The opening ceremony was enriched by greetings from prominent figures \u2014 Vladim\u00edr Mana, State Secretary of the <a href=\"https:\/\/mpo.gov.cz\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ministry of Industry of the Czech Republic<\/a>, Jana Wiesner, Honorary President of the <a href=\"https:\/\/kzps.cz\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Confederation of Employers and Entrepreneurs Associations<\/a> of the Czech Republic, and Ji\u0159\u00ed Kratochv\u00edl, Chairman of the <a href=\"https:\/\/unmz.gov.cz\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Office for Technical Standardization, Metrology and State Testing<\/ a> Ji\u0159\u00ed Kratochv\u00edl, who also greeted those present on behalf of the Director General of the <a href=\"https:\/\/agenturacas.gov.cz\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Czech Standardization Agency<\/a> Zden\u011bk Vesel\u00fd, Director of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cai.cz\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Czech Accreditation Institute<\/a> Ji\u0159\u00ed R\u016f\u017ei\u010dka, and the President of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aaao.cz\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Association of Accredited and Authorized Organizations<\/a> Pavel Mal\u010d\u00edk.<\/p>\n<p>Their speeches clearly demonstrated their shared desire and commitment to continue strengthening and supporting a system that ensures that only safe, high-quality, and reliable products that meet legal and technical requirements enter the European Union&#8217;s internal market.<\/p>\n<p>The opening ceremony was followed by a musical performance by <strong>Ellaboration \u2013 Dasha &amp; Epoque Quartet<\/strong>, which created an exclusive atmosphere for the entire evening. The program continued with an open dialogue between experts from six testing institutes, who took guests behind the scenes of product testing, from protective equipment to electrical devices and large-scale fire tests. Their contributions offered an engaging insight into how the certainties that consumers rely on every day are created.<\/p>\n<p>The evening was also a valuable opportunity to share experiences and establish new partnerships. The informal networking was complemented by a performance by magician Richard Nedv\u011bd, which underscored the social nature of the event.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Feedback from guests and partners confirmed that the first year was extremely successful. <\/strong>The modern concept, attractive program, and unique combination of professional content and cultural experience created a strong foundation for the further development of this platform.<\/p>\n<p>The organizers have therefore announced that <strong>the Evening with the State Testing Laboratory will continue in 2026<\/strong> and will become a regular meeting place for all those involved in the safety and quality of products on the European Union&#8217;s internal market and the safety of their users and consumers.<\/p>\n<p><a
