They are not to be construed as an interpretation of laws, regulations or other documents.<\/p>\n<p>The European market for construction products is covered by Regulation (EU) No 305\/2011 of the European Parliament and of the Council (CPR). The obligation to assess under this Regulation arises when requirements are imposed on a product in:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>harmonised Czech (European) technical standards<\/li>\n<li>European Technical Assessments (approvals) (ETA).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Once the requirements have been met, manufacturers are entitled to mark their products with the CE mark.<\/p>\n<p>Notified body No 1393 is authorised to assess these products:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>wood-based panels<\/li>\n<li>wooden poles for overhead lines<\/li>\n<li>Lightweight beams and columns made of wood-based composite materials for use in buildings<\/li>\n<li>prefabricated staircase assemblies<\/li>\n<li>timber frame and timber framed prefabricated building assemblies<\/li>\n<li>structural elements made of grown timber<\/li>\n<li>prefabricated wood-based sandwich load-bearing panels<\/li>\n<li>self-supporting composite lightweight panels<\/li>\n<li>timber and laminate flooring<\/li>\n<li>structural glued laminated products<\/li>\n<li>windows and doors<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The current list of harmonised standards can be found on the website of the Office for Standardisation of Metrology and State Testing.<\/p>\n<h4>Laws and regulations:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/EN\/TXT\/?uri=CELEX%3A32011R0305&amp;qid=1505811921167\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Regulation EU 305\/2011 (CPR)<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Documents:<\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.vvud.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/Opr\u00e1vn\u011bn\u00ed-OS-1393-zmen\u0161en\u00fd.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Notification NB 1393<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.vvud.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/EN-OS_Application.doc\">Application NB 1393 &#8211; english<\/a><\/p>\n<h3>RAL certification<\/h3>\n<p>We supervise the production of wooden buildings and containers for export to Germany according to standards:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>RAL &#8211; GZ 422\/1 Part 1: Manufacture of prefabricated parts<\/li>\n<li>RAL &#8211; GZ 422\/2 part 2: Assembly of prefabricated parts<\/li>\n<li>RAL &#8211; GZ 613 Steel construction systems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We represent the Bundes-G\u00fctegemeinschaft Montagebau und Fertigh\u00e4user e. Jitka Ber\u00e1nkov\u00e1, Ph.D. &#8211; berankova(@)vvud.cz<\/p>\n<h3>UKCA certification: for export to Great Britain and Northern Ireland<\/h3>\n<p>The Timber Institute has entered into a cooperation agreement with CATG, a British approved certification body for timber, timber structures, and wood-based materials. Manufacturers who wish to sell their products on the UK market with the UKCA mark can therefore contact the Timber Institute directly.<\/p>\n<p>It is intended to completely replace the CE marking in laboratory is included in a list of approved laboratories by IKEA for determining formaldehyde emission according to ASTM D 6007-14, EN 717-1, EN ISO 12460-3, EN ISO 12460-5.<\/h4>\n<p>In addition, the testing laboratory focuses on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>examining and testing of chemical wood preservatives with protection against biotic pests, fungi, insect, moulds and fire,<\/li>\n<li>tests of technological properties and parameters of impregnations,<\/li>\n<li>analyses of wood preservatives and aqueous solutions<\/li>\n<li>tests of joinery products: windows, doors, pallets, etc.<\/li>\n<li>testing of wooden buildings and building products: glued beams, panels, roof structures, etc.<\/li>\n<li>tests of coatings, adhesives and bonded joints,<\/li>\n<li>fire tests of building materials, fire protection coatings, cladding, etc. (determination of fire resistance and degree of flammability),<\/li>\n<li>tests of emissions and formaldehyde content.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Testing laboratory is authorized to prepare expert\u2019s opinions in selected timber industry fields.<\/p>\n<p>Testing laboratory closely cooperates with Authorized Body No. 222 in assessing the conformity of selected products in accordance with Act No. 22\/1997 Sb., to regulate technical requirements for products, and with Notified Body No.
