At the For Arch trade fair, auditor and technician Lubo\u0161 Drah\u0148ovsk\u00fd will give a lecture on why structural protection of wooden buildings is important, how it is ensured, and how it affects the use and value of a house.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The topic of structural protection of wooden buildings is also very well covered in the new handbook Structural Protection of Wood, published by technicians from the Timber Research Institute. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vvud.cz\/publikace\/\">You can download it for free here.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The basic principle is the correct design, placement, and execution of wooden elements with the aim of minimizing the risk of degradation caused by moisture, UV radiation, or biotic pests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When: September 19, 12:30 p.m. \u2013 1:00 p.m., as part of the ADMD lecture series<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Topic: Structural protection of wooden buildings. A key principle for the long-term durability of houses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Where: <a href=\"https:\/\/forarch.cz\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">For Arch trade fair, PVA Let\u0148any, Prague<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 36th international construction fair For Arch will take place from September 16 to 20 at the PVA Let\u0148any exhibition center in Prague.
